The Charleston Figure Skating Club provides programs that encourage its members to participate and excel in the sport. Chartered in 1960, the club has a diverse membership, from skaters as young as 6 years old and as old as 83. Of the club’s current 77 members, 61 are skating at the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena.
Club members are also members of the United States Figure Skating Association, and skate both for recreation and competition.
