Starting January 3, Chef April Hamilton will be conducting cooking classes for beginners at the Ferguson Kitchen and Bath on 160 Spring Street.
April Hamilton is a celebrated Charleston chef whose philosophy is to create healthy, flavorful meals using a variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients. Very passionate about cooking even at a young age, April has trained and worked in the kitchens of Cucina Luisa, one of Charleston’s best caterers.
Aside from cooking, April is also very enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge. She holds regular cooking classes throughout the year, as well as makes television appearances on Good Morning West Virginia teaching kids and adults how to cook.
The month-long cooking class this January is scheduled on January 3, 10, 24 and 31 at 6pm to 9pm. Classes include instructions, demonstrations and tastings. Class tuition costs $295.
