Charleston Stage Company Announces Cast and Writers for WEST VIRGINIA: WORDS AND MUSIC

stageThe audition held by the Charleston Stage Company for the upcoming production of WEST VIRGINIA: WORDS AND MUSIC has been fruitful, and a cast has been assembled for the play that is set to start on the third week of May. Performning on stage are Joe Miller, Bill Hairston, Becky Kimmons, Tara Pauley, Sheila Jarrett, Micah Atkinson, John Halstead, Josh Fix, Larry Groce, Jeff Ellis, John Lilly, Mark Atkinson, and Doug Imbrogno. The play consists of monologues and songs written by West Virginia writers and composers and will feature works by Denise Giardina, Jonathan Joy, Jeremy Richter, Margaret Baker, Mark DeFoe, Kirk Judd, Ron Sowell, Larry Groce, and many others.

Directing the play is David Wohl. The show is set to open on May 21st at the Clay Center’s Walker Theatre. It will run on May 21, 22, 23, 28 and 30 at 8pm.
