Tim Kelly’s adaptation of Frances Hodges Burnett’s literary classic is brought live by Bethany Cline and the Children’s Theatre of Charleston as they takes us to a hidden paradise.
The story is of Mary Lennox’s, a difficult child who was sent to live in her Uncle’s estate in England after her parents pass away. Known as the Misselthwaite Manor, her new home turned out to be a gloomy fortress, that doesn’t make it any easier for a little girl to overcome her lonliness. She discovers a strange walled garden, and with the help of the gardener’s apprentice, she brings the garden back to life and discovers the wonderful, magical effect the garden has on all who come into it.
