This Easter, there are two eggciting events that will sure to entertain the entire family.
On April 8, the Clay Center is hosting Eggstravaganza, a fun-filled afternoon of egg decorating, egg hunting, and a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny. This event is from 11 AM to 4 PM, and admission costs $9 for adults, and $7.50 for children.
Over at Magic Island, over 15,000 Easter Eggs will be waiting to be found. Gary the magician will be performing some tricks, and making balloon animals, while real animals like kangaroos, mini pygmy goats, mini zebus, mini shetland sheep, and a camel will be around at the Jungle Island petting zoo. There will also be face painting, giant inflatables, and the Kanawha County Parks will bring Hoppy’s Little Express Train.
The event is from 10 AM until 4 PM, and the Easter Egg Hunt will start at 1 PM. Admission is free.
