Easter festivities in Charleston

Easter egg hunt in CharlestonIt’s Easter this Sunday, and in celebration, there are several Easter events around the Kanawha Valley.

There will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids over at the I-77 Motorsports Park in Ripley, as well as a practice and swap meet on Saturday, 11th of April. Over at the North Bend State Park, kids can look foward to Easter egg hunting with the Easter Bunny on Sunday, the 12th.

Twin Falls State Park in Mullens, WV is likewise holding an Easter Egg Hunt with more than 1,000 eggs hidden around the park. To participate in the hunt, a charge of $1 per child will be collected. This hunt will be held on the 11th.

Canaan Valley Resort State Park takes the step further with a weekend packed with Easter festivities. Easter egg hunts, egg coloring, and family games are just a few activities planned. For the adults, they can look forward to the Easter Sunday Buffet to be held at the park’s Hickory Dining Room. Festivities start on April 10th.
