21 February 2012 26 views No Comment

The 2012 West Virginia Book Festival committee is accepting applications from exhibitors and vendors who would like to take part Festival’s 12th annual event. This year’s festivities are set for the 13th and 14th of October at the Charleston Civic Center.

The Festival’s Marketplace is a great place for books and other reading-related merchandise. The festival attracted 7,000 attendees in 2011, and is looking to welcome more people this year. Prospective exhibitors are asked to contact the organizers at wvbookfestival.org or call 304-343-4646 (extension 246) as soon as possible to secure their slots.

The event is presented by the Kanawha County Public Library, the West Virginia Humanities Council, the Library Foundation of Kanawha County, the Charleston Daily Mail and the Charleston Gazette.
