FestivALL 2010

festivallWatch as Charleston celebrate summer with a weekend of music, theatre, dance, visual art and a whole load of family fun at this year’s FestivALL.

Scheduled for June 18 to 27, locals and visitors are in for a treat as the city comes together in this 10-day occasion. Among the events are Live on the Levee, Mountain Stage featuring Mark Cohn, ArtGawk, Flash Mob, Historic House Tour, WVIFF Student Film Festival, FestivALL and WV Music Hall of Fame West Virginia Day Celebration, Charleston Light Opera Guild’s “Barnum”, River Queen Cruises, Charleston’s “Fete de la Musique:” The FestivALL Solstice Celebration, Art Walk, and the highlight — the Mayor’s Concert featuring The Pointer Sisters.

Many are also looking forward to the Smoke on the Water Chili Cook-Off, a regional chilli cook-off. There will be sampling, local food vendors, hot pepper eating contests and live music.
