FestivALL 2015 is in full swing in Charleston, WV!
This 10-day celebration started last Thursday, June 18, with the opening of Ginger and Billy Joe: The Stock Car Musical, presented by the Contemporary Youth Arts Company at the WVSU Capitol Center Theater. Since then, back to back events celebrating the arts in its different forms has been happening all over the city.
There is the Downtown Artwalk on the 25th, wherein participants are taken through the different shops showcasing the best visual talents of West Virginia, while being entertained by street performers as they move from one establishment to another.
Music lovers, have a wealth of choices of performances, in various genres. Listen to classical music in a beautiful setting at the FestivALL Recital Series: Short, Sweet and Historic at Glenwood on the 25th, and at the Craik-Patton on the 26th.
The Culture Center Theater in the Capitol Complex is the venue for the Dance Gala on the 24th, while the LimeLight Theatre Company’s performance of “The Fishermen & the Fly” will be at the Lee Street Triangle on the 25th, and at the Green Space at Davis Park stage on the 28th.
River Queen Cruises will also be cruising up and down the Kanawha River from the Haddad Riverfront Park in various times until the 27th.
