Join us for our next Food for Thought Luncheon on Wednesday, August 11, from noon to 1pm at the Charleston Area Alliance. This session, led by Loren Smith, will help you improve your business etiquette and set you apart from your competition.

This Food for Thought will focus on:

* How to distinguish yourself from the competition
* How to make an entrance and work the room
* Handshaking
* Eye Signals
* Introducing yourself and others

About the speaker:

Loren Smith was trained and certified by The Protocol School in Washington, the only such accredited institute in the country. Her education background includes graduating summa cum laude from Georgia Southern University with a B.A. in French and German. She went on to earn a master’s in linguistics from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.

Ms. Smith taught Japanese at UNC-CH for four years and was awarded the prestigious Undergraduate Teaching Award in 1992.

Ms. Smith offers seminars in corporate etiquette and international protocol.
