All of the shows start at 7:30 pm, except for the May 15 show, which starts at 2:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $25, and are available for sale through the Charleston Light Opera Guild website.
Monty Python’s Spamalot is based on the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It has the trademark humor of Monty Python sketches, and spoofs everything to love about musical theater. The original Broadway production in 2005 won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical of the 2004-2005 season. The initial run comprised of over 1,500 performances, attended by more than two million people. It has toured across the United States, West End and the United Kingdom, and has been staged all over the world.
