Description: Discover the fun of engineering and science with interactive activities
and exciting demos. The Clay Center is partnering with WVU Institute of
Technology and the Community and Technical College at Institute of
Technology to present Discover Engineering Family Day Saturday, Feb. 20
from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Families can visit with special guests at their interactive booths and
witness the phenomenon of liquefaction, the mystery of robotics and
other engineering fun with live demonstrations. Or, head to the
classrooms for more hands-on excitement to create structures from
everyday household items and recyclable materials.

Participants of Discover Engineering Family Day include Marshall
University, CDI-Civil Engineering, DOW, MATRIC, Fox Engineering PLLC, WV
Statewide After School Network, WVU Extension Service 4-H, Pickering
Associates, Bayer, American Society of Civil Engineers Charleston
Branch, Chesapeake Energy and several others. The Community and
Technical College at Institute of Technology will be represented by
several different departments.

Guests will receive one free childs admission with paid adult. All
activities are included in Museum gallery admission, which is free for
Clay Center members or just $5 for children and $6.50 for adults. For
