Pulitzer Prize winner Gordon Wood at Annual McCreight Lecture

Historian and author Gordon Wood — winner of the 1993 Pulitzer Prize, will give a talk on “The Revolutionary Origins of the Civil War”.

The talk will take place on 27th Otober 2011 at 7:30 PM, at the Culture Center during the West Virginia Humanities Council’s annual McCreight Lecture. The event is free and open to the public.

Wood is a Professor of History at Brown University and an authority on the founding of the United States. He won the Pulitzer Prize for history for his book “The Radicalism of the American Revolution.”
