Bayer Symphony Sunday

West Virginia Symphony Looking for New TalentOn June 1, 2014, the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the West Virginia Symphony League presents the Bayer Symphony Sunday, an all-day music festival that showcases the music of West Virginian artists.

Starting at 1:00 pm, there will be musical entertainment in two venues: the main stage, and the artisan tent. Among those taking the stage are the Mountain State Brass band, Kanawha Valley Community Band, Brass Band of the Tri-State, WV Youth Symphony, Charleston Metro Band, Chamber Groups of the WV Youth Symphony, and the Mountain State Brass Quintet.

The event will be capped with a concert by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra,led by Maestro Grand Cooper, Artistic Director and Conductor, starting at 8:00 pm.

This annual tradition will not just be about the music — there will also be local food vendors, artisan tent, book nook, and children’s area with inflatables and games — fun for the whole family!
