On June 1, 2014, the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and the West Virginia Symphony League presents the Bayer Symphony Sunday, an all-day music festival that showcases the music of West Virginian artists.
Starting at 1:00 pm, there will be musical entertainment in two venues: the main stage, and the artisan tent. Among those taking the stage are the Mountain State Brass band, Kanawha Valley Community Band, Brass Band of the Tri-State, WV Youth Symphony, Charleston Metro Band, Chamber Groups of the WV Youth Symphony, and the Mountain State Brass Quintet.
The event will be capped with a concert by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra, led by Maestro Grand Cooper, Artistic Director and Conductor, starting at 8:00 pm.
This annual tradition will not just be about the music — there will also be local food vendors, artisan tent, book nook, and children’s area with inflatables and games — fun for the whole family!
