Beer vs. Wine at the FestivALL fundraiser

wine-beerThe second annual FestivALL fundraiser will be held on February 22, 2014 at the Berry Hills Country Club.

The event will feature a silent auction, cocktail hour, and a five-course gourmet dinner prepared by two local celebrity chefs. There will also be performances by the cast of “Godspell,” and other entertainers between courses.

Each dinner course will be paired with a fine wine and a craft beer that are carefully chosen by two of Charleston’s top beverage consultants, John Brown and Rich Ireland. Diners will be asked to vote for the best beverage pairing at the end of each course. The votes will be tallied at the end of the night to declare the winner of this “battle of the beverages.”

Tickets for the dinner is priced at $110 per person, and can be purchased through the FestivALL website, or through Taylor Books. Proceeds of the fundraiser will go towards the main FestivALL event in June.
