Thanks to the East End Main Street program, the neighborhood is now sporting new shops and more are on the way.

Among the new additions, is Hush, an Organic Health Food store, and Magic Makers, a costume shop.

Charleston business owners are also planning on opening new shops in the area, like Chris Chaber of The Empty Glass, who will be opening a new live-music venue. Other shops to look forward to are the Japanese hibachi-style restaurant and the much-awaited outdoor East End Bazaar, both opening in the summer.
