Educator Appreciation Day at The Clay Center

teacherIn show of support and appreciator to our educators, The Clay Center of Charleston, WV is offering free admission to teachers and up to four members of their family on Saturday, September 28, 2013, 10 am to 5pm.

Teachers and school administrators will be given a chance to see and experience the resources available to their students during field trips and hands-on learning. This includes the Clay Center’s new Be the Dinosaur hands-on exhibit, which gives students a chance to enter a virtual Jurassic Park and see the world through a dinosaur’s eyes.

There are also discounts available for giant screen films & planetarium shows, art exhibits, and prize giveaways to lucky visitors.

Educators are asked to present a valid School ID or other proof of employment to gain entry to the center. They can bring up to three family members for free. For more information, please call the Clay Center at (304) 561-3570.
