Enjoy a feast of New Appalachian cuisine featuring locally grown farm produce on October 21, 2013 at Paterno’s at the Park, in Charleston, WV.
This Festival of Food, is a celebration of West Virginia’s culinary heritage. The event will feature the creations of five of the region’s most talented chefs, each one bringing something unique for each of the five-course meal.
Chef Dale Hawkins of Fish Hawk Acres will be creating a smorgasbord of antipasto salad, Chef Tom Grant will be handling the appetizers, Chef Matt Grover for the soup, Chef Michael Aiello for the entrée, and Chef Jeremy Still for the dessert.
The event will start at 6:30 pm, and guests will be free to socialize with other guests, meet the chefs, and nibble on the smorgasbord. Dinner will be served at 7:30 pm.
Tickets cost $75 per person, or $135 per couple. Tickets can be purched online at the Cast Iron cook off website.
