Are you up for a high tech scavenger hunt? Join the City of Charleston’s Geocaching activity at Cato Park on August 26!

Geocaching is like a treasure hunt, but instead of using a map, participants will have to search using their GPS receiver or mobile phones for items marked by coordinates.

The organizers of this activity will hiding boxes all over the Cato Park woods. This is a free activity, and is open for everybody. The search starts at 9:00 AM, and the geocaching activity will be until 12:00 noon.

For more information you can call (304) 3486860 or email the organizers at julianne.yacovone@cityofcharleston.org or kelsey.gilbert@cityofcharleston.org.
