As Charleston is still to recovering from the chemical spill that has contaminated the water sources of the city, citizens and organizations are doing their best to ensure that everybody gets access to clean and potable water.
One such effort is the H2OMG! fashion show, which would benefit WV Clean Water Hub, a group of volunteers coordinating donations and deliveries of clean water and supplies to citizens in need.
On March 1, the Charleston Moose Lodge on 2805 Kanawha Boulevard East will be host to a runway fashion show, pop-up shops of local artists and craftsmen, live music, and gourmet treats. The fashion show will feature designs by Julie Wirts, Jill Houser, Allison McComas and Erika Williams Ford, and modeled by reality TV star Katie Saria from “Buckwild,”, current Miss West Virginia Charisse Haislop, and other artists and citizen.
Tickets for the event is $20 and is available for purchase at the door. Cash and check are prefered. Doors open at 5:30 pm, the show starting at at 6:00 pm.
