The Kanawha United Presbyterian Church brings back the Kanawha Forum, a noontime concert series every Wednesday. Featuring talents from across various genres, the Kanawha Forum has become a much anticipated spring and autumn event.
The concert starts promptly at 12:05 at the Sanctuary of the KUPC on 1009 Virginia Street East. It is followed by a gourmet luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. The luncheon is available by prepaid reservation.
For Spring 2012, the artist line up includes Tim Tan and Vicki Berneking-Cavendish (April 11), guitar duo Jim Lange and Ryan Kennedy (April 18), The Montclaire String Quartet (April 25), Gary Brown and Sandy Sowell (May 2), and the Sarasvati Trio (May 9).
The luncheon menu includes fresh mushroom soup, spinach and apricot salad, Sister Schubert’s rolls, blackened salmon and asparagus soup, zesty shrimp and orange rice salad, lemon cream scones, luscious key lime pie and the best chicken salad ever. The gourmet lunch goes for $10 per person.
