April Hamilton is once again holding a cooking class, this time for children. Targetted for kids in third grade through eight, this week-long cooking camp will focus on heathly eating and cooking habits. Each day will have a different theme, and for the last day, each participant can invite up to two guests to try out the meals they’ve prepared.

The camp runs from August 6 to 10, 2012, from 9am to 1pm at the Village Chapel kitchen at 3818 Venable Ave. in Kanawha City. Camp fee is $275 per child, and comes with an apron, mixing bowl and kitchen tools. If more than one child in a family is joining, there is a $50 discount on the fee.
