Summer is almost here, and that can only mean one thing: Live on the Levee is back!
On May 23, 2014, this outdoor concert series will commence, and will continue every Friday evening until August 29. The concert will be held at the Schoenbaum Stage on the banks of the Kanawha River. Entry to the venue starts at 5:00 pm, and music starts at 6:30 pm. Headliners will perform starting at 7:30 pm, and the event will end around 9:00 pm. All the shows are free of charge!
Several food vendors will be at the venue, and domestic beer and wine will also be on sale during the event. Live on The Levee t-shirts are also available for sale.
Boaters can hook up to the electric power of the Haddad Riverfront Park Boat Dock. Prices start at $25 for a single hook up, and $100 for hook-up for the season (during event weekends only). For more information about the power hook-up, call the City Manager’s Office at (304) 348-8014.
Moses Live on the Levee is at its 11th season this year. It is presented by the City of Charleston, WV, with support from sponsorships and private donations.
