There’s no better time to visit The Clay Center in Charleston, WV than now until February 14, when the center is waiving admission to the museum gallery.
In lieu of admission fees, the Clay Center is encouraging visitors to donate instead in support of the center’s mission of “inspiring creativity, learning and wonder through experiences in the arts and sciences.”
This is in response to the recent events that Charleston faced. “This is our way of giving something positive and enjoyable to our community, after the stressful week everyone has had,” Clay Center President and CEO Judy Wellington said. “With a new exhibit opening next weekend and more exciting changes on the way, it’s the perfect time to play and learn at the Clay Center.”
Currently on exhibit at the Mylan Explore-atory science gallery is “Brain Teasers 2,” an interactive exhibit puzzles, illusions and games of strategy. For more information about the ongoing exhibits and programs, visit www.theclaycenter.org.
