Printmaking at the Clay Center

The Clay Center highlights the history of printmaking in America, with new exhibits and various free programs.

Associated American Artists: Art by Subscription is the current exhibit, running since October 6 and on display until December 9, 2012. Works of artists Peggy Bacon, Thomas Hart Benton and Grant Wood are on display.

Come January, the exhibit will be replaced by Tamarind Touchstones: Fabulous at Fifty. Amazing litograph art from the last fifty years will be on display, from a world-renowned print workshop.

There will also be free lecture series called Impressions: Conversations on American Prints and Printmaking. Speakers include Marjorie Devon Tamarind on the Tamarind Touchstones Exhibit Walkthrough on Thursday, January 17, 2013, and Bill Lagattuta and Lesley Dill on Collaborative Printmaking on Thursday, February 21, 2013.
