Summer Fun Day at the Clay Center

museumHave fun with the whole family at the Clay Center this Sunday, July 27, 2014, for the annual Summer Fun Day!

Guests are free to explore the Avampato Discovery Museum. The new exhibits include “What’s YOUR Story?,” which features digital puppet shows, green screen technology, and traditional props, costumes, and backdrops, “The Hunt for Treasures,” a hands-on exhibit which takes you to the virtual world of Oak Island, “Every Living Thing: A Closer Look at Nature,” an art exhibit that explores the natural world through artwork an interactive experiences, and the “Faith & the Devil,” an exhibit that examines the themes of good and evil.

The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and Gorby’s Music, Inc will be providing an instrument petting zoo. There will also be live performances by singer-songwriter Todd Burge, magician John Slicer, and drummer Mark Davis with keyboard player Deron Sodaro.
