Canadian alternative-country band The Bros. Landreth is coming to Charleston, WV to at the Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences this Saturday, September 12.
Real life brothers David and Joey Landreth is joined by their “surrogate” brothers Ariel Posen and Ryan Voth to form the band. The brothers have been exposed to music at a very young age, often watching their father Wally Landreth, a musician from Winnipeg, performing in small clubs around Canada.
Growing up, they were introduced to the music of Bonnie Raitt, John Hiatt, and Steely Dan, which influenced their own sound — folk-rock with a country blend.
The band will be performing their record “Let it Lie” for the Clay Center’s Sound Check Session.
