The Esquires 50 Years Celebration Dance

country bandLose yourself in the smooth rhythm and blues sounds straight from the 60’s as the The Esquires Band celebrates their 50 years in music this December.

The Esquires was formed in 1963, and debuted at the Stonewall Jackson High School assembly. They performed all around the Southeastern United States, at clubs and colleges. The band members took their own paths in 1971, and the group reunited in 1983 wildly successful holiday reunion dance, that attracted the crowd who grew up to their music. Though the band members have changed throughout the times, their music remains true to their 60’s r&b roots.

The celebration will be on the 27th of December at the Charleston Civic Center Grand Hall. The doors will open at 7:00 pm, and the show will start at 8:00 pm. There is limited seating, so it’s better to reserve your tickets early. Reservations can be done through the Civic Center Box Office or through Ticketmaster. Table reservations can be done through the Esquires’ website.

The Holiday Inn Express and the Marriott Town Center, both right across the Charleston Civic Center, are offering great rates for show goers. Visit
