Old Crow Medicine Show

Bluegrass, fold, old-time, and alt-country band from Nashville, Old Crow Medicine Show is coming to Charleston, WV to perform this Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the West Virginia Power, Appalachian Power Park.
The band will be joined by award winning bluegrass band The Del McCoury Band and Robert Randolph & The Family Band as part of the Charlie West Summer Jam. Bon Appetit! Bon Appalachia!

Four Charleston WV establishments have been included in the Appalachian Regional Commission’s campaign, Bon Appetit! Bon Appalachia!, which aims to highlight the distinctly local food establishments in the Appalachian region.
Included are the Capitol Market (farmers market) on Smith Street, East End Bazaar (festival/event every weekend from April – October) and the Bluegrass Kitchen (farm to fork restaurant), and the Tricky Fish (farm to fork restaurant) on Washington St. East.

Charleston has gained an artsy addition: The Only One Look art and glass store.
Opened on the first week of July 2014, Only One Look is owned by Randolph Evans, who owned two other stores in Princeton, features mainly American-made artwork and focuses on regional history.

This Saturday, dive into the fray and learn about the fine art of writing at the Calligraphy 101 Workshop.
