Bluegrass is located in Charleston’s East End in a restored historic building that features art from local artists on the walls and as sculptural pieces. The Perfect Chicken is my favorite meal, and the best way to describe the cuisine would be organic WV grown comfort food. I would warn against their white pizza if you’re expecting the typical version, they tend go a little overboard with the toppings in my opinion. The restaurant can get a little loud when at full capacity, but I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and good food. If you go for dinner, you can always go around the corner afterwards to The Empty Glass for drinks and live music every night.
