Dem2 Brothers and A Grill
Stand at the corner of Virginia Street West and Central Avenue, and you’ll get a whiff of the most delectable smell of meat grilling. That’s wafting from Dem2 Brothers and A Grill, a barbecue place by former football player Adrian “Bay” Wright.
The Charleston native recently came back and set up shop at the Five Corners, grilling pork ribs and shoulders and basting them with his special sauce. Though it’s only a concession stand at the moment, people are really lining up to pick up lunch and dinner orders. A bar and grill is set to open in June at the red brick building across the Five Corners intersection.

I cannot believe no one has reviewed this place yet!
I can honestly say that I have had the best collard greens I’ve ever had here. The ribs were perfect. Juicy, tender, fallin off the bone so ‘easy-like’, with just the right amount of spice (they asked me how hot I wanted ‘em, and I said: ‘kinda spicy’). But oh man…those collard greens! I loved ‘em. And the potato salad? Also PERFECT.
I couldn’t go to this place enough. Let me tell yah! You must give these guys a try. You will not be disappointed.
Excellent food!!! Great service as well. Called in an order for 7 people and food was right, it was ready in 20 min, and EVERYBODY loved their food. A great addition to Charleston.
My family and I ate here today and the food was great. I’ll be back The prices are good too.
Honestly the best pork BBQ sandwich in the valley, maybe in the state. If you are reluctant to stop, don’t be, you will not be disappointed.
