Get a taste of New Orleans at Sheperd’s Café on 920 Main Street, Charleston, WV.
With Antonio Lewis working the stoves, you are guaranteed to have authentic Creole and Cajun fare from the New Orleans native, with ingredients flown directly from the state. Lewis is backed by 18 years of experience working in various kitchens of New Orleans restaurants, learning and adapting trade practices and secrets. He assures that there’s something for everybody’s tastes in his cooking: Creole relies heavily on the seasonings, while it’s Cajun dishes that are heavy on the spices.
Daily lunch specials are on offer at Shepherd’s Cafe, ranging from foot-long hot dogs, po-boys, red beans and rice with sausage, shrimp Creole, blacknened fish and shrimp, and pasta. He also tries to offer vegetarian choices.
Shepherd’s Cafe is open from 11 am to 3 pm. Delivery and catering is also available, just call Lewis at (304) 410-2465.
