15 December 2008 599 views 2 Comments

Bringing the best Indian food in West Virginia, Sitar of India is a favorite among Charlestonian with an affinity for spicy food that’s bursting with flavor. The Punjabi dishes served in the restaurant are guaranteed made with natural spices and only the freshest ingredients. Waiting time might take longer, as each order is prepared individually to assure of its quality. Everything is worth the wait though, as each dish that comes out of the kitchen is good. There are also plenty of choices for vegetarian diners.

Sitar of India has recently brought back its popular lunchtime buffet, where for $8.99, you can enjoy your Indian favorites like curries (vegetarian and non-vegetarian), masalas, basmati rice and nans.

I absolutely love Sitar of India. The food is fantastic and the inviduals who work there are polite, helpful, and happy to be there. I strongly recommend that if you live in the area and you haven’t been there…go. If you are visiting the area…go!

If you want to try a delicious dish at Sitar of India try the Chicken Chile. It might not sound Indian but get the hot version and it’s wonderful!
