Featuring live music seven days a week, there’s no better place to unwind after a long day. The Empty Glass also holdest Charleston WV’s longest running Open Mic Night every Monday. It is hosted by Pepper Fandango (first Monday), A Taste of Charleston (second Monday), Gypsy Rhythm (third Monday), and Groove Heavy (fourth Monday). All Open Mic Night is free admission.
The Spurgie Hankins Band, a Charleston born and bred singer and songwriter performs every Tuesday. There is no cover charge, and happy hour prices stretch on for the whole night.
Wednesday through Saturday, the cafe showcases great local bands and occasionally touring bands. The weekend party starts on Friday, with a free Happy Hour Jazz performance by Dugan Carter and Friends.
On Sundays, The Mountain Stage Recordings take place in the cafe, with a Post Mountain Stage Jam hosted by the Carpenter Ants. To see the full band lineup for the month, check out their schedule.
