Perdue Grocery

jamIf you’re looking for something unique to give out to friends or family, or just for your own consumption, you can’t go wrong with a gift basket from Perdue Grocery. Specializing in the freshest locally grown, produced and marketed products, Perdue Grocery gives a distinct “Tase of West Virginia.”

Originating from West Virginia, Perdue Grocery started out as a general store operated by the Perdue family at various locations throughout the area. In 1946, Perdue Grocery has taken roots in Manila, WV, becoming the main supplier for much needed staples for the residents of the small rural community. Though the grocery closed in 1970, it re-opened in 1997, thanks to Stephen G. Perdue, grandson of the original founder, Glen and Mary Perdue. Perdue Grocery is now located inside the Charleston Capitol Market.

Keeping true to the family tradition, Perdue still supplies the community with the best quality products that the grocery is known for. With their made-to-order gift baskets, you are assured that you are getting the best value for your money. Aside from being able to pick out what to include in the basket, you can also taste each product to see if it’s to your liking.
