The 13th Annual West Virginia International Auto Show

It’s time to get geared up for the 13th annual West Virginia International Auto Show. The event is set for Jan. 27-29 at the Charleston Civic Center. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

“The show will be exciting because the industry is back in full force,” said Ruth Lemmon, president of the West Virginia Automobile and Truck Dealers Association. “We’re expecting a great lineup of vehicles from all manufacturers.”

Aside from admiring shiny new vehicles, attendees will have the chance to win cash. “We’ll have an exciting program by Mardi Gras Casino,” Lemmon said. Ticket purchasers will be entered to win $25,000 in cash. A ticket will be drawn each day of the show and one lucky winner will get the cash prize, she said.

That would be a good return on your money. Ticket are $7 for adults, $5 for seniors 62 and over, $4 for children 7 to 12 and free for children 6 and under. On Sunday, children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by one paying adult. Go to www.WestViginiaAutoShow.com to purchase online and save $1 off the regular adult admission price.
