An interesting ethnic blend of symphonies will meet on this Sunday’s Mountain Stage, as the beats of Africa meets the high voltage rock n’ roll sound, combines with West African-inspired Gullah jazz and even some traditional Welsh tunes.
The stage is set for the performances of Tal National from Niger; Ranky Tank from Charleston, South Carolina; Welsh folk band, Calan, and; singer/songwriters Shannon McNally and Amy Rigby at the Culture Center theater in the State Capitol Complex in Charleston, WV. Show starts at 7pm.
Advance tickets are available at $20, while tickets on the day cost $35. Tickets are available through Taylor Books in downtown Charleston, online through mountainstage.org, or by calling 866-987-6487.
