Are you starting to get bored with your usual cup of Joe? Get a fresh taste with the brews over at the Musical Grounds European Coffee House over the Capitol Market in 800 Smith St. in Charleston, WV.
Headed by Fayetteville local Joe Dangerfield, he aims to bring good coffee to Charleston, using coffee grounds sourced directly from the farmers, ensuring their freshness and flavor. Since coffee is grown and harvested from different parts of the globe, the offering at the coffee shop is expected to change depending on the season.
Prices start at $2 for a 12-ounce up of house coffee, and $2.50 for a 16-ounce. Espresso-style drinks, lattes, and mochas are also available, as well as a wide selection of interesting syrups to try, including lavender. Musical Grounds is conscious of the health impact of certain ingredients and avoid high fructose corn syrup and genetically modified organisms.
Musical Grounds is open Mondays to Saturday from 10 am to 6pm, and Sunday from 12 noon to 5 pm.
