Halloween is right around the corner, and Charleston, WV is gearing up with a weekend full of spooktacular events for everybody!
The whole family can enjoy a fun day at The Clay Center, experimenting at the Haunted Lab, decorating pumpkins, meeting creepy reptiles at the Boo Zoo, collecting goodie bags at the Trick and Treat trail, and much more! The event is on October 26, from 12 noon until 4 o’clock in the afternoon.
There will also be a Zombie 5K Run/Walk, and after-dark road race, which is a first in West Virginia. Registration on the date (Saturday), will start at 4:00pm, and cost $30 for individuals, and $25 per runner for groups of 4 persons or more. The starting line is at the UC Stadium. The Kanawha Players Theater presents an adaptation of the Night of the Living Dead. This adaptation is done by Lori Allen Ohm, and directed by Ginger Workman and Devon Nuckles.
