Tracking the use of the State’s stimulus fund

moneyCitizens of West Virginia can rest easy, as they will now be able to track the $1.8 billion of federal stimulus funds that will be coming into the state over the next three years.

The website www.recovery.wv.gov allows viewers to keep track on the overall spending process of the state’s stimulus funds.

West Virginian Governor Joe Manchin aims for the website to be “easy to navigate and to contain as much overall program and county-specific information as possible, so our residents could see what types of projects are being funded.”
